For our February 15 meeting at FRCC, Colin Miller will demonstrate stone setting. This demo will focus on two of the most flexible ways to ornament plain surfaces with gemstones, flush setting, also known as gypsy or hammer setting, and a basic bead setting. These techniques will enable jewelers to use faceted stones in a wide variety of ways, as accents, or the central focus of a design.
To RSVP, visit http://www.meetup.com/BoulderMA/, and if you haven't already, join BoMA online. There's no cost or obligation.
Join us for coffee and conversation at the Brewing Market around the corner after the February meeting.
(We'll go back to meeting on the second Saturday of the month in March. Front Range asked us to change the date for February only)
