Beginning Wax Carving with Jackie Stone

Class Description
In this class students will learn how to carve their own band ring out of wax! If time provides, students will get an opportunity to build a pendant and play with wax textures. When we meet the following week, students will be show how to clean their casting and complete their ring! Students should come to class with design ideas for a band ring, or any pattern print-outs they want to carve in their band.
About the Instructor
Jacqueline has a diverse background in finance, marketing, technical design, manufacturing, product development and merchandising. She currently resides in Boulder, CO with her cat Velcro. She spends her time building custom engagement rings for private clients through her business, Salt +Stone, providing consulting work to various jewelers in the Denver area and writing a monthly column for National Jeweler titled Designer’s Diary.

- Safety Glasses
- Saw frame & blades
- Dividers
- Scissors
- Ruler (mm)
- Paper
- Scotch Tape
- A scribe
- Four AA batteries
- Fine tip sharpie marker
- A cheap toothbrush (never been used)
- Tiny old jewelry boxes to store your waxes in- keep the cotton in them

CANCELLATION POLICY
- You may cancel up to 10 business days prior to the start of the class and receive a full refund, less $10 processing.
- Cancellations 5-10 business days prior to the start of the class are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations occurring less than 5 business days prior to the start date will not be refunded,
- In the event we have to cancel a class, you will be notified prior to the start date and will be issued a full refund.
