Enameling your Pierced Designs with Kirsten Denbow

Class Description
Add color to your own designs! Use a variety of techniques to create a layered enamel piece. Students will learn basic enameling including, sifting, painting, liquid enamel, and cold joining enamel.
Students should have experience with basic sawing, piercing, filing and sanding.

Jewelers saw
Saw blades
Files
Sandpaper
Drill bits (#52 or #54),
Design templates (Something you’d like as the top and something you’d like as the bottom. See images below.)
$20 materials kit* fee (cash or check)
Materials Kit Provided*
All liquid and powder enamels, metals, enamel paints, and other consumables.
*Materials kit purchase is required for all our workshops. The kit insures all students have the same materials required to learn the technique and allows the instructor and the students to focus on the technique rather than the materials.
About the Instructor
Kirsten has been a metalsmith for 20 years and an enamellist for 7. She teaches art and jewelry classes to students of all ages and most recently, Kirsten has been participating in art shows all over the country, teaching at the Arapahoe Community College, and writing for Lapidary Journal. CANCELLATION POLICY
- You may cancel up to 5 business days prior to the start of the class and receive a full refund, less $10 processing.
- Cancellations 3-5 business days prior to the start of the class are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations occurring less than 3 business days prior to the start date will not be refunded,
- In the event we have to cancel a class, you will be notified prior to the start date and will be issued a full refund
