Silversmithing for Beginners with Christina Paris

Class Description
This workshop offers a hands-on introduction to silversmithing. In this series of classes students will learn basic techniques including measuring, filing, sawing, piercing, soldering, bezel fabrication, bezel setting, and bezel setting, as well as some finishing techniques and use these skills to make 3 pieces of jewelry. Basic metal cutting, forming and shaping will produce dangly earrings; metal forming and an introduction to soldering will be covered when we make rings, and simple bezel setting in addition the previous skills will be used to make a pendant!
Only four seats are available this hands-on workshop, ensuring plenty of individual instruction.

*Materials kit purchase is required for all our workshops. The kit insures all students have the same tools and materials required to learn the technique and allows the instructor and the students to focus on the technique rather than the materials.

About the Instructor
Chrissie Paris is a working bench jeweler in Boulder. She grew up in England (hence the charming English accent) and is relatively new to Colorado. She has her own line called TuwaJewelry and is looking forward to sharing what she knows with her students.
Maximum six (4) students. All participants will be required to sign a waiver.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- You may cancel up to 10 business days prior to the start of the class and receive a full refund, less $10 processing.
- Cancellations 5-10 business days prior to the start of the class are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations occurring less than 5 business days prior to the start date will not be refunded,
- In the event we have to cancel a class, you will be notified prior to the start date and will be issued a full refund.
