Boulder Metalsmithing Association is the premier jewelry making and metal arts school in Colorado. BoMA offers something for everyone interested in making jewelry. 
  • Classes in lost wax casting, fabrication, stone setting, chasing & repousse, enameling, welding, lapidary, and engraving, all taught by world class instructors for students of all levels from beginners to professionals.
  • Membership benefits including discounts on classes, promotion of members' work on BoMA social platforms and an opportunity to show members' work at the Bus Stop Gallery and other local venues.
  • An Open Studio membership level where students can practice their craft 24/7 in our fully equipped studio.
  • Scholarship opportunities.
We also reach out to our community and students under 18 by offering an annual train-the-trainer metalsmithing course for local high school art teachers with age-appropriate techniques, projects, tools & materials for the teachers to take into their own classrooms.
