About Boulder Metalsmithing Association

Boulder Metalsmithing Association is the premier jewelry making and metal arts school in Colorado. BoMA offers something for everyone interested in making jewelry.

• Classes in lost wax casting, fabrication, stone setting, chasing & repousse, lapidary, and engraving, all taught by world class instructors for students of all levels from beginners to professionals.
• Membership benefits including discounts on classes, participation in the annual BoMA Jewelry Design Challenge, promotion of members' work on BoMA social platforms and an opportunity to show members' work for sale at our local partner gallery: R Gallery.
• An 'open studio' membership level where students can practice their craft 24/7 in our fully equipped studio.
• Scholarship opportunities starting in 2022

We also reach out to our community and students under 18 by offering an annual train-the-trainer metalsmithing course for local high school art teachers with age-appropriate techniques, projects, tools & materials for the teachers to take into their own classrooms.
