in the Community
BoMA is a 501(c)(3) Colorado non-profit corporation established in 2009.
We give back to the community through our 'Enhancing Art Through Education' program. Each year we invite art teachers from local middle and high schools to join us in the studio for metalsmithing instruction and an opportunity to connect with their peers. We teach 5-6 age-appropriate metalsmithing projects and offer tools and equipment for the teachers to borrow and teach the projects in their classrooms.
In the last 5 years, we've reached over 1,000 school aged youth with an intorduction to metalsmithing techniques. We accept donations for this program year round, apply for grants and participate in Colorado Gives Day each October.
