Class Description
Want to make a silver ring? Bring your spouse, a date, your partner or a friend and learn basic metalsmithing skills in our studio. Design and create a ring for yourself or for each other. Learn how to use metalsmithing tools for sawing, texturing, stamping, filing, finishing
and soldering. Leave the studio with your finished ring!
We promise a fun, interactiveexperience and a truly memorable evening. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes and if you have long hair, bring something to tie it back.
Registration includes enough sterling silver and consumables (flux, solder, saw blades and fuel) to create one band ring. Additional materials are available for purchase.
Prerequisites
None. For beginners and those with little or no prior jewelry making experience.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Members of the BoMA board of directors will teach this class. You'll meet Jimmy, Rocky, Beth, Katherine, Nancy and Russ. All of us are passionate about metalsmithing and love to teach people about it.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 8 (four couples). Students will be required to sign a waiver. Participants must be 18 or older.

- You may cancel up to 10 business days prior to the start of the class and receive a full refund, less $25 processing.
- Cancellations 5-10 business days prior to the start of the class are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations occurring less than 5 business days prior to the start date will not be refunded,
- In the event we have to cancel a class, you will be notified prior to the start date and will be issued a full refund.
- Registration is not transferrable. You may not sell your seat to another student.
