Gem Identification Workshop with Mirabai Nagle

CLASS DESCRIPTION
​

Mirabai Nagle will be teaching techniques for using basic tools to assist you in properlyinspecting a cabochon or gemstone prior to purchasing or setting. She will also be providing information on stonetreatments and what to watch out for, along with proper gemstone certifications. When it comes to setting a stone, there are a lot of helpful hints to be aware of from care of the stone, to knowing it's hardness or durability. Join us for a day of valuable information that will assist your knowledge of treatments, stone vulnerabilities and other hazards of buying and setting stones.

  • 10 power loop

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Mirabai has been in the fine gem, crystal and mineral business since she was a young girl. She was trained and mentored by some of the most prominent and knowledgeable people in the industry. Mirabai received her Graduate Gemology degree from the GIA and has been immersed in the fine jewelry business for the past 8 years in addition to the crystal and mineral industry for 23 years.

CANCELLATION POLICY
  • You may cancel up to 5 business days prior to the start of the class and receive a full refund, less $10 processing.
  • Cancellations 3-5 business days prior to the start of the class are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations occurring less than 3 business days prior to the start date will not be refunded,
  • In the event we have to cancel a class, you will be notified prior to the start date and will be issued a full refund.
